Learning the gospel with our neighbours

by on October 24, 2012

A couple of women from the Playtime Cafe were keen to discuss Christian faith more, so Nicole’s started a gospel discussion group, and now six women are meeting to read the Scriptures and discuss them each week. They’re doing a five week intro-to-Christian-faith course called The World We All Want.

One of the Dads from PTC complained because the group was only for women. Unfair! So now we’ve started a men’s Bible discussion group, and a group of us are doing the same study course as the women.

And at the same time, one of our members’ sister asked if they could read the bible together. So they’re doing the same course!

Three Bible discussion groups with friends and neighbours. And none of them was our idea!

We’d value your prayers for these groups over the next few weeks, that we will get close to Jesus together.

We’re so bad at getting our neighbours talking about Jesus – it’s a good thing our neighbours are so good at it!
