Playtime goes ballistic

Community groups don’t tend to grow evenly: they go in spurts. Playtime Cafe is no exception. After hovering between 40-50 all year, suddenly about 7 new families have joined in the past few weeks. As a result we’re up over 60 people.

The nice thing about this growth is that the new families are Lebanese (3), Italian, Samoan and Anglo. A great mix that reflects our area.

It was pretty big and noisy today.

My heart longs to see these mums and kids drawn to Jesus. If you’re a regular reader you’ll know what I’m about to say next.

We don’t have anyone to work among these women. We’re praying hard for the Lord to raise someone up.

In fact, we’re struggling just to keep running this ministry, our staff numbers are down lately, it’s hard to keep it going. We’re praying for more volunteers.

Please pray with us!
