“Now the Jews were celebrating the Passover Feast, when they remembered how God rescued their nation. On the first day of the feast, you killed and ate the Passover lamb.”

This is how our Good Friday dramatic performance of the Passion story begins.  We’re telling it at 12 stations around the property at St Pauls Canterbury. Ending with Jesus’ death. Followed by a brief outdoor service. Then hot cross buns. We’ve invited 2000.

Then on Sunday, it’s time to celebrate. Christos anesti!  Christ is risen! We’re pulling out all the stops to help Canterbury celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. Big community lunch. Lamb spit roast. Face painting. Jumping castle. Kids’ craft. Easter egg hunt. And giving thanks to God for his Son Jesus.

Usually lots of neighbours come to our Easter Sunday Lunch. It should be a great day.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Our Easter outreach costs about $1000. As usual we don’t actually have the money. We’re praying that God will provide the money we don’t have.

If you’d like to help, click on the dropdown menu at the top of this page ‘Sponsor our Easter Outreach’.

Happy Easter!
